To me, the most interesting parts of fashion are those revolutionary visions of bodies that we’re not familiar with, that make people uncomfortable. I like when fashion legitimates shushed underdogs, and confronts norms about which bodies are worth valuing.
(But it’s also extremely rare, in an industry that’s usually obsessed with promoting a single female body ideal and a single male body ideal.)
